At Mint Competitions, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to enter our prize competitions.

That’s why we offer a FREE postal entry route for our eligible competitions. No purchase is necessary to enter by post, and all valid free entries have exactly the same chance of winning as paid entries.

How to Enter for Free

To enter a competition using our free postal entry route, please follow the instructions below.

Step 1 – Choose Your Competition

Visit mintcomps.co.uk and select the competition you wish to enter.

Make a note of the exact competition title.

Step 2 – Prepare Your Postal Entry

Write the following information clearly on a postcard or piece of paper:

  • Your full name
  • Your full postal address
  • Your email address
  • Your telephone number
  • Your date of birth
  • The exact title of the competition you wish to enter

Step 3 – Post Your Entry

Place your entry in a stamped envelope and send it to:

Entries must be sent using the postal service. Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted.

Step 4 – Entry Confirmation

Once your valid postal entry has been received and processed, it will be allocated a ticket number and entered into the relevant competition.

Please ensure you have registered a free account on mintcomps.co.uk using the same email address as your postal entry.

Important Postal Entry Rules

  1. No purchase necessary. Entering by post is free, although you must pay the normal cost of postage.
  2. One entry per envelope. Each postal entry must be submitted separately, with the correct postage paid.
  3. Entries must arrive before the closing date. Postal entries received after the competition closes will not be accepted, regardless of when they were posted.
  4. All entries are treated equally. Valid free postal entries have the same chance of winning as paid entries in the same competition.
  5. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and meet the eligibility requirements stated in our Terms and Conditions.
  6. Accurate information is required. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries may be rejected.
  7. Competition limits apply. Postal entries are subject to the same maximum entry limits as paid entries.
  8. No bulk submissions. Entries must be submitted individually by the person entering. Automated, third-party or bulk submissions are not permitted.
  9. Ticket availability. Postal entries can only be processed while the relevant competition remains open and tickets are available.
  10. Instant-win competitions. Where free postal entry is offered, valid postal entries will be allocated tickets with the same opportunity to win any applicable instant-win prizes.

How Are Winners Selected?

All valid entries, whether purchased online or submitted through the free postal entry route, are included in the relevant competition.

Winners are selected using the draw method specified for that competition.

A free postal entry has exactly the same chance of winning as a paid entry.
